The Western Costa del Sol is the 100km of coastline that begins at Malaga city and stretches westward all the way to the border of Cádiz province. This part of the coast is highly developed in terms of both property and infrastructure and it attracts an important percentage of Spain's international tourism. Communications revolve around Malaga International Airport (8 km west of the city) and the N340 backbone coast highway. In the middle of the Costa the greatly improved district road from San Pedro de Alcantara inland to the historic town of Ronda is the most important inland connection.
It includes the popular resorts or Malaga, Marbella, Mijas, Estapona, Calahonda, Nerja and the playground of the rich & famous Puerta Banus, also many other fabulous pictureque Andalucian towns & villages.

The Canary Islands consist of Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote & Fuerteventura.
Gran Canaria is an island of contrasts. It is best known to visitors for its southern coast of developed tourist resorts and magnificent, sandy beaches, bathed by a gorgeous, warm, dry climate. However, its interior is dominated by spectacular mountains and cool breezes. Despite the commercialism of the southern coast, you can still find local ports, harbours and beaches around the rest of the island. They just take a little more looking for.
Most people go to Gran Canaria for the perfect beach holiday and a night life where you can dance, eat, drink and party until the small hours, all year round. The beaches make it popular with families, singles and couples and the island caters particularly well for the gay crowd, too, especially in the Maspalomas area.
Tenerife is probably one of the last European paradise isles. "Fascinating" is the word for this island. It offers lush forests, exotic fauna and flora, deserts, mountains, volcanos, sometimes snow, incredibly beautiful coastlines and spectacular beaches.
Lanzarote is the most easterly of the Canary Islands and is only 60 miles from Africa. Although Lanzarote is one of the smallest Islands it still offers many different attractions for tourists and with a good selection of resorts there is always something to keep you busy.
Fuerteventura is perhaps most famous for it's beaches, with over 50km of stunning white and golden sand. Despite Tourism being a relatively recent phenomenon on the island, there is a well developed infrastructure with Golf Courses, a Zoo, a Water Park and numerous Marine Excursions.
