The area
La Marina is a residential area about 20 minutes drive south of Alicante Airport on Spain's Costa Blanca. The villa is situated just a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest bars and restaurants and a 15 - 20 minute walk to the main comercial zone with a multitude of bars and restaurents. La Marina beach is only a 7 minute car drive. There are tennis courts and a sports complex nearby and a large market operating on Sundays and Thursdays. A car is not essential as there is a local bus service to the nearest main towns but hiring a car does help to get around and fully appreciate the area. There is a local bus service to the beach during the summer months

There is a beautiful pool for your use, with a children's area,The pool is set in large lawned gardens and is carefully maintained
La Marina is a very cosmopolitan area with bars restaurants to suit all, approximatly 15 minutes walk,there are 3 large supermarkets, butchers, banks paper shops etc.We also have an excellent Pharmacy,Doctors Surgery and clinic we have 2 bustling Markets held on Thursdays and Sundays and a very informative Tourist Office.
Our super beach is approx 7 mins by car there is also a frequent bus service in the summer months at the beach there more restaurants where you can dine overlooking the Mediteranean with a view to the isle of Tabarca -frequented by Pirates in ancient times!!!!

you might want to explore further afield.
There are coach trips to Terra mittica (theme park )Benidorm Palace, plus historical trips to Valencia ,Lorca
Costa Blanca is famous for it's many Golf courses the nearest (Marquesa) being 15 minutes away , La Manga is approx 1 hour away .
There is Scuba diving , snorkelling,fishing Bird watching ,Flamingoes and other sea birds come to our famous salt lakes near Santa Pola
Really you are never bored in La Marina but you can just relax and recharge your batteries it's is entirely up to you
